Prepare

This hollow black clay sculpture is covered in bulbous shapes and topped with a curved dome. It echos the forms of African prestige hats and Ghanian pots. The title is inspired by the Star Wars film The Empire Strikes Back and suggests a broader exploration of how objects might prepare us for something we need to be ready to learn.
