This piece is made with thousands of hand-cut tiles. Lucas Ferreira arranged the tiles in a mosaic-like pattern, a recurring method in his practice that allows subtle surface textures to emerge from the natural irregularity of his cutting. He glued the tiles onto a wooden board to provide flexibility under tension and finished the piece with a wooden frame.
