Oceanic II

This piece is made with thousands of hand-cut ceramic tiles, arranged in a pattern that reveals subtle textures through the innate irregularity of Lucas Ferreira's clay cutting. The tiles are glued to a wooden board to allow flexibility under tension, and the work is set within a wooden frame.
