The Imprint of Volcanoes: Lagoon

This is a carved oak box with a turquoise cotton velvet lid. The wood is knife-sculpted into geometric island-like reliefs, while the velvet is hand-needled for a dense, uniform surface evoking the ocean. The piece is done in collaboration with Ben&Manu.
