
This plate marks an evolution in Mitsuke Masayasu’s earlier explorations in visual deception: none of the circle centres align with the plate's true centre. Mitsuke began at a central point, expanding square-built circles, then inverted the squares near the rim to achieve visual harmony.

Mitsuke first fell in love with painting at the age of four
