Yuldong 2023

This tray design modernises the traditional window patterns of Korean palaces, to decorate a daily item. The delicate patterns are intricately carved using a raised embossing technique. The pieces retain the natural texture of solid wood. The set is made from maple and walnut and finished with natural oil.
