
This sculptural chrysanthemum is crafted from a single piece of dense handmade felt using a needle and wet felting techniques. At its core is a tightly formed, seed-like centre encircled by a ring of sharp black petals. The outermost petals were sculpted from natural wool and encased in gold silk.
