Delft Snowball

This sculpture was inspired by 17th and 18th century Dutch Vanitas floral paintings. The object resembles a bouquet of flowers, and is formed from individually welded silver spoons and hardware. The bouquet is attached to a sculpted base. The ball-shaped flower blossoms are formed to look like snowballs.
