Oxymoron

This piece, part of the Oxymoron series, is made from stoneware clay. Some pieces were shaped on the potter’s wheel, while others were hand built. The initial idea emerged during the pandemic, as a response to the relentless human urge to make use of nature, emotions, objects or any available resource. At first glance, the forms resemble functional vessels, but their design deliberately challenges utility.
