Bulgari

This is a watercolour and ink illustration of a jewel, created for a Bulgari animation. The stones were first drawn with indigo ink to define their shape and cut, then painted with watercolours to add light and transparency. A soft, diluted wash was used for the background and the drop to highlight the jewel’s preciousness.
