Embodied
This sculpture uses the technique of slumping black glass into a mould then standing it upright in the kiln to allow the glass to fall upon itself and take on a new shape. The surface of the object has been sandblasted then placed in the kiln for fire-polishing, which achieves a satin-like surface.
