Narciso in blue

This plate was painted with a high-fire cobalt blue glaze typically found in Portuguese tiles and a transparent overglaze. The composition represents elements of the Iberian Peninsula and Portuguese pottery. Featuring nudity and a laurel wreath, the male figure was inspired by classical elements.
