Cobra

This plate features a snake coiling on itself, occupying the circular space at the centre of the dish. This impression is enhanced by two circular lines of liquid gold, that frame the central part. The snake creates a strong contrast of light and shadow, with details in the eyes and scales highlighted with gold paint.
