Tropical

This cut-out is a paper lace whose visible side is made up of leaves assembled in a bright, contrasting range. Situated between two glasses framed by a raw oak rod, this painting contains a removable background, held in place by an invisible hanging system. Tropical is inspired by American photography of the 1970s.
