curio-1.jpg)
This wall-mounted shelf doubles as a sculptural tribute to the curió, a Brazilian songbird known for its melodic calls and gentle nature. Made from braúna, muirapiranga, and peroba do campo, this piece features a gently arched backboard, a small shelf at the base and a delicately carved curió perched on a dowel. Guilherme Sass created it to evoke a sense of freedom by leaving the bird unconfined.
