This collection of little objects is crafted from jacarandá da Bahia, one of Brazil’s most beautiful and valuable woods, protected since 1992. The timber was reclaimed from a demolished building in Ipanema, an emblematic neighbourhood in Rio de Janeiro. Once part of a staircase, the wood was reimagined by Guilherme into a series of pieces, each celebrating the sensorial pleasures of woodworking.
Homo Faber Finds is a new service aiming to inspire admirers of craft to connect and collaborate with exceptional artisans.
