Tea bowl of golden fish
This tea bowl uses traditional Kutani-yaki red painting and glass-like colours. Hand-shaped like a goldfish bowl, it shows two vividly coloured goldfish. Surrounding them are finely painted red lotus flowers and patterns with gold details. The colours are inspired by Chinese ceremonial ware.
