Pictish Goose Beaker

This beaker is hand-raised using Britannia silver. A Pictish Goose design inspired by stone carvings in the National Museum of Scotland is chased into the surface. Behind the goose motif is a Celtic knot made from repetitively punched dots, adding a contemporary twist to the traditional design. The object’s exterior is polished and textured with planishing and punching techniques. The interior is finished with rich gold plating.
