HOMO FABER FELLOWSHIP
Patera box

Patera box

This marquetry wooden box was crafted by José Lourenço, using a selection of exotic woods, including American walnut, ayous, chestnut, mahogany, yellow goiabão, and sycamore. The exterior features intricate floral and scrollwork marquetry that harmonises light and dark wood tones in a curved and elegant structure. The lid showcases an inlaid floral motif within an oval frame, adding refinement and artistic depth. The interior is lined with rich red fabric and contains multiple compartments, including five hidden compartments seamlessly integrated into the design.
