This is a sculptural wall tapestry piece handwoven on a rigid heddle comb loom. Made from cotton fibres, it was named Açafrão, which means 'saffron' in Portuguese, due its natural tint. It is a perfect example of how Bruna Octaviano experiments with colour and natural dyeing in her pieces.
Homo Faber Finds is a new service aiming to inspire admirers of craft to connect and collaborate with exceptional artisans.
