This piece is made of jesmonite, gold leaf and smokey quartz. It was inspired by two obelisks in Florence, and is rich in symbols around the life of Man: from the base to the top, the putti cherubs represent innocence, the slow turtles with their heads outstretched represent wisdom, and the suns at the top indicate that at the end of life we return to being energy.
