This small artwork symbolises the Japanese art form of kintsugi, which is the mending of broken things with gold. It celebrates the broken element and the object's history while creating something beautiful and new from it. This artwork is part of an ongoing series. It is made of hand-cut 36 gsm washi paper, paint, and embroidery thread.
