Song of the Willow

This circle-shaped wall sculpture, made from willow dried into shape, and then pieced together with fine wire, is the title piece of Lizzie Farey’s 2022 exhibition at the Scottish Gallery in Edinburgh. It was inspired by the wind rustling the tips of the willow and the birds that inhabit her willow field.
