
"During my childhood in Australia, I saw a wingless kiwi bird at the zoo, which mirrored my own feelings of homesickness and loneliness. This self-portrait, expressed through a kiwi bird on a crooked bottle, symbolises my struggle with being far from home while studying abroad," explains Junyoung Kang about his artwork.
