Espejismo four-module mural

The works in the Espejismo series consist of a set of quadrilateral, white ceramic murals. They are composed by juxtaposing hundreds of thin ceramic tiles, each individually shaped to create a broken edge resembling torn paper. This set includes four modules, with the tiles laid straight, without any tilt, to emphasise their form. This group of panels explores the fragmentation of the square shape into two to four pieces, resulting in four murals with one, two, three and four modules. They differ from other works in the series in that they have rounded corners.
