A Sitting Room Ceiling in a 17th Century House

This decorative plaster ceiling for an old house in Dorset has a large central circle of oak leaves. Tucked away among the branches are a wren and a pair of mice stealing acorns. It was modelled in clay and then moulded and cast in plaster.
