Great Fulford Ballroom Ceiling

This decorative plaster ceiling for a historic manor house in Devon was designed by Geoffrey Preston and modelled, moulded and cast in his Devon workshop. The central panel depicts the marriage of Bacchus and Ariadne, as Venus crowns her with stars.
