La Cordée
La Cordée re-interpretates traditional Swedish rug-making practices in a contemporary key. Initiated in 2011, the project is focused on repurposing timeworn and weathered climbing ropes. Estelle Bourdet uses the old ropes as weft, intertwining them with vibrant cotton threads to create authentic and long-lasting rugs.
