This porcelain vessel was formed by throwing a wall on the wheel, altering it to an angular shape, and joining a slab base. The plant morphology was studied, and each leaf, stem and flower were drawn in preparation to make paper stencils. These were applied to build up the imagery using a palette of engobes.
Homo Faber Finds is a new service aiming to inspire admirers of craft to connect and collaborate with exceptional artisans.
