L'Aquila 14th-century coat of arms
More than 300 bobbins were used to weave this coat of arms in Punto Antico Aquilano, a complex lacemaking technique. The pattern in the middle reproduces the city’s 14th-century crest, while the contours evoke L’Aquila’s castle.
