Embroidered shawl

This shawl is woven in a loose linen weave (4/1). Subsequent fulling by hand makes the white virgin wool from Tyrol soft and supple. The slightly rough woollen character is retained. The piece is embroidered with a plant-dyed and hand-spun wool yarn.
