Brown/White Kite Shirt

This 3D paper collage is a brown and white Japanese kite shirt. During a trip to Japan, Liz Valenti visited the Kite Museum in Tokyo and was inspired to make this piece, that reflects kite graphics alongside newspaper cuttings and buttons made from Hokusai print cards. The two main papers used are from industrial waste. The shirt is framed.
