Starflower brooch

This sterling silver brooch is made from cross sections of folded round elements of various diameters. Fireworks inspired Claudia Westhaus for this composition with overlapping elements to achieve a strong sense of three-dimensionality. The colours vary from silver to a powdery white which is obtained by etching on the silver surface.
