Paradiesfinger brooch

This brooch is a composition of ten individually folded and stacked leaf shape elements of various sizes. All elements are made from sterling silver, hand mounted and filed to shape by Claudia Westhaus. The three-dimensional effect is increased by the overlapping arrangement into a cluster reminiscent of plants. The colours vary from silver to a powdery white which is caused by etching on the silver surface.
