Bureau Elytre

Ludovic played with the properties of Macassar ebony, sycamore and leather to give this handmade desk its vibrant and organic forms. It is unlike any other. The wood was curved and stretched, and leather was stitched to the surface. If the process of bending wood is relatively common, that of stretching it is less well known, and stitching is very rare. Ludovic had to research and adapt specific stitching techniques and tools used in the textile industry. The desk is accompanied by a chair in the same style.
