The Magic Box of the Golden Frogs, The Magic Box of the Ruby Frogs
This decorative box was made using the lustre technique, in which a blend of metallic salts and controlled firing produce various iridescent and chromatic effects. Much like in fantasy books on sorcery, the mystery and the hidden strength that an object can conceal materialize within the box. An international panel selected the work for La Boite (The Box) competition, held in Carouge (Geneva), Switzerland, in 2011.
