Go and Fly
This orange hued sculpture was shaped with kiln melted glass that was later cut and polished creating a subtle interplay of surface monochrome surface textures. Ivan Mareš is fascinated by nature and the structural logic of the natural world, in which each part has their function and is logically included among others. Similarly, he believes that a finished sculpture should not be cold but a viable organism with a soul, colour and name; an organism that can live and dream silently by us.
