The Three Graces
The Three Graces was clearly inspired by Cathy's “True Faces” project carried out with 100 participants who had never worked with clay before. Their goal was to excel themselves and to be creative beyond the limits of academic rules. In this instance, skill and dexterity have been swept aside by qualities of lightness and humour that can claim to be inherent artistic values.
