Soul Reader, an installation comprising 27 porcelain pieces, features a combination of three different sizes of moulded hands, heads and bodies. The pieces invite the viewer to reflect on their individual and the collective consciousness. The pieces were made using similar moulds to create a homogeneous feel, before being hand-moulded and finished with a natural ash glaze to reinforce their individuality. The white porcelain pieces were fired in a wood-fired kiln and at 1300°C in a downdraft kiln.
