Stone Rose Agate tableware

This tableware collection explores the historic agateware techniques of 17th and 18th century UK industrial ceramics. The objects are formed using a porcelain-type stoneware body. A contrasting combination of hand-prepared coloured clays decorate the individually thrown objects, which are turned, inside and out to accentuate the agate. The pink body is created by recycling clay from former objects.
