Vase 3

This porcelain vase is covered with a crystalline glaze, made from raw materials according to a personal recipe devised by Riccardo Gori. During firing, real crystals form on the surface of the vase. After a firing at 1280°C, the piece is pickled in an acid solution. The green colouring with metallic crystals is due to copper oxide.
