Vase 1

This porcelain vase is decorated with a crystalline glaze that is made from raw materials according to a personal recipe devised by Riccardo Gori. The piece, after firing at 1280°C, was pickled in an acid solution. The green colouring with light brown crystals is due to copper and manganese oxides.
