Two carved ceramic vessels

These two ceramic vessels are made in the hand building technique called coiling. The pot on the left is terracotta and the other is black stoneware. The surfaces are carved with intricate, geometric patterns derived from Renaissance paintings, using an image mapping technique devised by Leah Jensen.
