Lion tumbler

Commissioned by a client whose name translates as 'Lion', this hand-raised and chased tumbler is larger than Miriam's usual designs and can also be used as a bowl. The engravings were inspired by ancient Egyptian imagery, notably the sun god Ra, and the bold style of hieroglyphics when carved in high relief.
