Birds In Flight vase

The inspiration for the engravings on this hand-raised vase came from the landscape of the Suffolk coast, around Miriam's studio. The crashing, tumbling waves, the ebb and flow of the tides, sea breezes and seascapes all helped to shape this piece, which evokes a harmonious sense of movement. Seabirds glide in and out of the spume beneath the clouds. The dynamic beauty of water and all that surrounds it often figures in Miriam's work.
