Tableau en verre (Glass picture)

This glass sculpture was crafted from various hand-blown elements. Once blown the various pieces were sawn, cut and finally remelted together at 850°C. The inclusion of a black and white murrine design in the centre gives the sculpture a painterly quality. It is set on a black metal support to ensure stability.
