Tableau en verre (Glass picture)

This black and white sculpture was created from several hand-blown elements. The blown pieces were then sawn, cut and finally remelted together at 850°C. The clear and expressive geometric patterns in starkly contrasting black and white give the sculpture a painterly quality. It is set on a black metal support to ensure stability.
