For years, Juliette has explored notions of feminine identity as well as the representation of women in contemporary society and in history. Juliette's busts oscillate between a prophetic picture announcing the birth of a new species, a human figure with a half-animal, half-vegetal face; and certain death caused by a greedy Mother Nature eager to take back her rights.
