This low, rectangular wooden footstool is made from Portuguese pine wood, recovered from a local sawmill. It was manually cut, drilled, fitted, levelled, polished and varnished. The seat was hand-woven by Filipa Formigo into a braided pattern using sisal plant fibre threads.
