Soap I

Soap I is part of an ongoing investigation into form and the complicated nature of the glassblowing process. The original glass bubble is first covered with an opaque glass layer, blown into a mould and finally dipped into colour. Ondřej then masterfully fashions the glass in its malleable state using a suction method. After cooling, the object is mattified by acid etching.
